Oops

Next project, to figure out how to edit photos. Sorry about the image of fish and fisherman twice and the failure to rotate the fabulous scenery with fisherman photo. I'm still learning. Cheers

To Fish or Not

To Fish or not to fish, that depends on the weather. I have a few photos of the "early days" of fishing in NZ. These were big brown trout then, but not so big now after even larger ones have since been caught. Unfortunately, some were not caught on camera. Fishing season here ends on April 30 so we can only hope.... that we do not have the clouds, rain, or high winds that have been abundant since we arrived. I suppose there is always the opportunity to fish in lakes and the mouths of the really big rivers. And there is always next season.

Another Attempt

Hello everyone. I was planning on spending more time on improving my blog management and updating, but the weather decided to get warmer and sunnier. I wanted to try to show you all this photo of Diana when we were in Cairns wearing "Grumpa's" backpack. I love the proud look. I will try to get pictures up soon of the big guy with some of his big fish. It is fall here and we are approaching winter with interest. All is well here. Cheers, Sue and Scott

Welcome S&S

Here is your blog. I hope you will use it to keep those of us who are envious of your adventure fully apprised. Of course, there's always email, but if you post here and given everyone the address no one can complain they were left off of a distribution list! Plus it's easy to post pictures. Below are a couple from our June trip to the U.P. If you do want to use this, you can go in and delete this first post. And I will help you with any personalization of the set-up.
